New locations inspire a lot – this was one very similar to one I missed from Europe. We had a blast, with fashion, props and happily staying dry. Groaning thunder was just behind a corner.A little bit more Jamaica love!

December is great month to make some of “the best” shots published – those are my favorite pictures from destination weddings. I had privilege to visit some of the amazing places and I’m looking forward to all 2011 weddings:) I will travel again to Belize, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Mexico. Leah and Matthias got married in the Mexico in February and we had a blast to shoot a bridal/TTD session for them in Fernie. Day was truly amazing and we love how rich are the colors in BC. Lighting is also so much nicer and softer than in Alberta. Fernie rocks!!!

I love to shoot “trashing” sessions and this was one of my favorite ever! We stayed in the resort 15 minutes away from Paradisus Palma Real and we decided to walk on beach to meet Alana and Tim for the session. Whole week was super rainy and humidity was highest we ever experienced. Kind of like shooting in the steam room;) We were super excited for this session – I usually travel alone for destination weddings – being there with my husband and no kids was really awesome and romantic experience.Very dark clouds were approaching our destination beach but lighting was amazing. We made it there just before a storm.

Couple days after the wedding we went with Stephanie and Andrew for the creative session to Cardenas and trash the dress session in Varadero.
